It’s a BAM! BAM! Gospel

God said it and it’s written in God’s word, BAM!, it’s so.  You might not see it or feel it, but that doesn’t matter.  When dealing with a God whom you can’t see you must use faith because, BAM!, and that’s the way it is.  God called Abram a father of many nations; so, what happened?  It took a while, yes it did, and God called him Abraham, which mean father of many.  So, what did the man do; remember, he had no children yet, not even an Ishmael; but what did he do?

“As it is written: ‘I have made you a father of many nations.’  He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not,” (Romans 4:17 New International Version).

Abram believed God, that means he trusted that what God said would happen; that tells me that when God gave him the name Abraham (the man knowing what that name meant), even though he had no children (not even one on the way, he called himself Abraham.  He was calling things that be not as though they were because God said so.  Although some denominations would say that would be lying it wasn’t because God had already said it.  It’s lying if you didn’t clear it with God first, that takes prayer.

Now, Jesus had said some things that I want you to see the BAM! of concerning your desires, healing, and using His name.  First, let’s look closely at one verse, most people couple this verse with the next verse and miss it’s meaning.

“So Jesus said to those who believed in him, “If you obey my teaching, you are really my disciples,” (John 8:31 Good News Translation).

Are you one of those who believe in Jesus?  That’s not a trick question, some versions leave you out by saying that Jesus was speaking to the Jews who believed, that would leave the non-Jews out.  So, picture in your mind Jesus pointing His figure straight at you and saying, “If you, (Jim, Paul, Mary, (put your name here)) . . . what?”  Listen and dismiss?  Listen and try to figure out how to apply it to your mediocre life? No! A thousand times, no!  God gave a prophecy through me that started out, “You are My children (if you’ve called Jesus Lord), but are you disciples of Jesus (who is the Christ)?”  Truth be told, you’re not His disciple if you don’t obey His teaching.

Now, if you are one of His disciples then you will, or at least should, be in Him (baptized in the Holy Spirit) and His word should be in you.  Then you can ask . . . what?

“But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!” (John 15:7 New Living Translation).

He said you can ask for what you want and, here it comes; BAM!, it’s yours.  John 16:23 where Jesus told you and me to ask in His name means that when we ask for what we want in His name then—Oh, what’s that word, oh yes—BAM!, it’s yours.  Now saying it’s yours doesn’t mean that it’s manifest so that you can see it or touch it right away; it simply means it’s yours.

“‘Have faith in God,’ Jesus answered.  ‘Truly, I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea,” and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.’” (Mark 11:22-23 New International Version).

That mountain must obey what you say; why?  Well, look back at Romans 4:17 and the next paragraph, which explains it.  You must have cleared it with God first, that’s you don’t doubt it in your heart.  So, then it will obey your words because of what Jesus said in John 15:7.  Now, let’s continue.

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (Mark 11:24 New International Version).

Again, look at John 15:7; you’re in Him and His will is in you, meaning your wills are so intertwined that His will is your will and your will is His will.  So, when you ask for whatever you will, that’s what He wills too.  And forgiveness will become—how you say—first nature to you because that is the greatest expression of love, that and service (voluntary service) (helping out a friend in need).

So, when you get these things working for you, working for the representative of Jesus—of God—that’s you baptized in God (the Holy Spirit), BAM!, and I do mean BAM!, you got it.  That’s why when all these things are working in you, you don’t have to ask God for something twice, all you need is to use patience.  Patience is part of the very nature of Jesus (Galatians 5:22-23).

When God shared this with me it got me laughing, I laughed at the devil because he/it doesn’t want me to know.  When we lay hands on the sick, BAM!, they’re healed by God.   When we use the name of Jesus and cast out a demon it must go without an argument because, BAM!, that’s it.  When we pray and ask for something in Jesus name according to God’s/our will, John 15:7 and 1 John 5:14-15 say, BAM!
