Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty."

With a new look
How many me’s are there in the world at any given time? To quote an old song from Sound of Music, “Me, a name I call myself.” Everyone on Earth who can talk has at one time, and probably still does, refer to themselves as ‘me.’

I do this on the Internet: when a service asks me to put in an online ID I put in ‘Me.’ I did this on amazon.com; so, when I call about a problem or something they get to talk to themselves, I mean me. Some of their operators say, “You, Me,” but then they pause. I think they might be realizing that when they are talking to “You,” they are actually talking to “Me,” meaning themselves. A Christian musician, I forget who, sang a song and said in it, “I’m talking to me.”

I’ve got a book out on the web called Say What!? The cover of the book is a picture taken with a mirror image; so, it is a picture of a man talking to himself. In other words, you had better watch what you say to me, whoever the me is that you’re talking to, because when you are cussing me out you’re cussing out every me that there is, and you are one of those me’s.
“He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, ‘Saul, Saul! Why do you persecute me?’” (Acts 9:4 Good New Translation).
Saul was persecuting the Church, but Jesus took it personal. Also, and I want you to take note of this, when Saul (soon to be known as Paul) joined the ministry of ‘getting things done in righteousness’ his persecuting the Church came back on him and he was persecuted. What Saul did was he took the step and turned away from the easy life of not getting anything done in righteousness, and therefore not being persecuted, to live a hard life of getting things done in righteousness and being persecuted for it.
“Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets,” (Matthew 7:12 New Living Translation).
In other words, put them in your shoes or look at them as ‘me.’ Now, how would you treat ‘me’ (I’m talking about yourself)? I would hope with respect and honor, gentle with the love of God. Well, if that’s the way you would treat yourself (‘me’) then treat others the same way and others will treat you that way. But even if they don’t God will,

When I pull up to a four way stop, an intersection in the road, if there is no one behind me I wave the others on and end up directing traffic. Later on, someone might give me the right of way when I wouldn’t think I should have it. Well, I did it for others, so eventually someone did it for me. But it never came into my mind that, Well, after all, I did it, so they owe me.

So, when you do something to someone else, or simply say something, just know this; it will come back to you because you are ‘me.’ And, when you cuss someone out you are cussing ‘me’ out; you are ‘me.’ Now, when you are treating them with respect, honor, gentleness, kindness, and the love from God you are treating ‘me’ the same way. If you are holding a gun on your neighbor, or on anyone for that matter, who is holding that gun?
