Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty."

I’m Still Growing
Several years ago when I still lived up in Massachusetts, before my newsletters became email teaching articles, I mailed out a card with one of my letters. It simply said, “I’m still growing.” A few years latter a lady stopped me on the street, showed me the card and said, “I keep it in my change purse.” ‘Every time I go into my purse I see that card and it reminds me that I’m not there yet.’ Ok, so I can’t remember exactly what she said, but hey, I’m still growing and learning. What she was telling me was that it reminded her that no matter how she felt about it, she was still a youth. And as a youth she didn’t know everything, whether she thought she did or not. When you get down to brass tacks; who of you is older than Jesus or Paul or Timothy even, or anyone in the Bible for that matter?
So, saying that something in the Bible, such as healing or speaking in unknown tongues, has passed away is described in one word; DUMB (ok, stupid).

I do not know the actual verse address, but there is a verse in the Old Testament that asks the question of who is smart enough that they can instruct God. Not even Solomon was that wise, he was wise enough to know that. So, if you think that you know more than God tell me so that I can pray for you. I’ll pray that you get some wisdom from God. This is the verse I was looking for.
“Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who accuses God answer him!” (Job 40:2 New International Version).
What happens to all of those who decide to criticize God anyway? So, anyway, here is a copy of that card, Take my advice and print it out; put it in a place where you can see it every time you might get mad. You’ll be glad you did.
