Confession – Manifestation

You know how to pray, I hope.  Jesus gave directions to help you, they’re all throughout the gospels and the John said,

“Since we have this confidence, we can also have great boldness before him, for if we present any request agreeable to his will, he will hear us.   And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we also know that we have obtained the requests we ask of him,” (1 John 5:14-255 The Passion Translation).

Jesus told us, his disciples, that if we ask the Father in His (Jesus’) name (now, that is not “In Christ’s name” or “the name of your son” or anything other than “the name of Jesus”) then we can have the answer (John 16:23).  In John 15:7 Jesus tells us that if we abide in Him (that sounds a lot to me like being baptized in Him) and He is living in us (not just there but living) then we can ask what we want and it will be given us.  Why is that?  That is because we can’t do that without knowing and living His will.  So, when we are asking our will, we are asking His will.

“This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer—believe that you have received it and it will be yours,” (Mark 11:25 The Passion Translation).

This verse is actually a part of Jesus’ discourse about prayer, the whole thing, the way it is written her, in Mark 11:22-25 (I find it more explanatory when I read from verse 25 to verse 22, do that and find out what I mean).  If you haven’t figured it out yet, I am talking about the prayer of supplication (entreaty prayers, asking for things for yourself).  So, if you believe that you have received it when you prayed for it what do you do?  Do you pray and ask for it again as if you didn’t get anything the first time?  Do you ask and ask for it as if God is dense?  What do you do, do you decide that since it didn’t manifest when you prayed God must not have wanted you to have it?  You did pray according to God will (His word) didn’t you?

Well, if you did and you received it when you prayed, then there is really only one thing to do, three things as categories into one; add these to your faith.  You’re using your faith and trusting that you have it.  You’re going to need to add patience to your faith to keep you calm during the manifestation and to keep your boldness alive.  You are going to need to thank God for it until it manifests.  And, as Paul said in Romans, you are going to need to call things that be not (don’t appear) as if they already were.

“(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were,” (Rom. 4:17 King James Version).

As I have discussed in previous articles, if you believe someone deeply enough you are going to do what they did.  In steadfast in Honor (John 14:12) Jesus says that to be successful you want to do the things that a successful person did, and since He is the successful person do what He did.  In other words, He was saying that if you believe then copy.  Therefore, if you believe God that you what you prayed for is yours (you received it) then start talking like it’s yours.

So, if you prayed for something that you want (you being in God’s will (John 15:7)) then you can receive it, speak of it as though it is you
