Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty."

With a new look
It’s a negative word when talking about a man or woman of God; actually, it’s negative when talking about anyone. It means incomplete, without what’s needed (which comes through Jesus), fragmented, ruptured, torn. Saying that you are broken is like saying that God didn’t do for you what He said He would when you accepted Jesus as Lord by a faith-filled confession. So, if you are one of those people who call themselves Christians and you feel like calling yourself broken think about what I had just written before you do. Think, think, think.

According the Biblegateway there are 278 verses in the whole Bible, both Old and New Testaments, with the word broken in them, but I don’t find one that talks about a man of God being broken. Do you? Jesus always left the impression that when I need help, guidance, or when I don’t understand something I should go to the Father in the name of Jesus and trust the Holy Spirit of God to give me the appropriate help.

If a camera doesn’t work then we say it’s broken. But, who made the camera, man or God? If your washing machine doesn’t work, your bed frame breaks, heater stops working, water heater leaks or something like that you call them broken and call for someone to repair or replace them. If your spirit is broken you need to get born again and be made complete in Him. Being born again means you will begin growing in the true. If you get off of the truth you’re not broken, you are just misled into sinful behavior; you just need to repent and continue growing in the truth.

You might think that you are broken or need to be broken to talk to Jesus; but Jesus considers you his brother, complete in Him, who just so happens to realize a shortcoming in his life. I talked to a friend and he thought that you had to be broken to come to Jesus so I told him that if you are broken when you come to Jesus you are not broken after you come, if you are you left thinking He’s nuts.
