Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty."

With a new look
Speak of it Like it’s Yours
“This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer—believe that you have received it and it will be yours,” (Mark 11:24 The Passion Translation).
Why will it be yours? It will be yours because you had already received it; and so, you are in essence testing God’s word to see that God meant what He said. “Does that mean that if it doesn’t come in then it wasn’t God’s will?” someone might ask. What it means, dear precious one, is that you had not received it when you prayed. And that means that John 15:7 is right.
“Stay joined to me and let my teachings become part of you. Then you can pray for whatever you want, and your prayer will be answered,” (John 15:7 Contemporary English Version).
See, if you have read my articles about believing God where I used Romans 4:17 you would have understood that if you truly believe God you will speak things that you have prayed about into existence if you received them. Why? Because God did and He said you can too. Abram had received what God said of him, so he did what God did. God called him Abraham, so the man called himself Abraham. Yes, even before he was physically a father of many nations.

Now, if you are one with Jesus’ teachings (John 15:7) then when you pray for something, knowing what God had said about it, then God will say “Yes.” And when God says “Yes,” that is an indication that what you prayed for is granted you; so, you can start speaking of it like it is yours. And, by refusing to speak of it as yours now, you’re saying that God is not good on His word. By refusing to speak something as yours that God has said is yours, you are, in essence, spitting in the face of God by telling people, “Yeah, God said it, but you really can’t trust that it will happen.” To a person like that I must ask, WHAT GOD ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

Ya see, God had given instructions, written instructions about tithing, instructions about giving and instructions about receiving. Now, don’t go misquoting Philippians 4:19, purposely leaving the rest of the Scripture thought (vs. 14-18) out and giving the excuse, “God meets my needs.” Taking Scripture out of context is not wise; and just because some Bible versions have every new verse on a separate line does not mean they are stand-alone verses. Scripture thoughts do not start with the words and or but.

So, the way I see it is; you will never receive something from God, something that you had prayed for, if you refuse to speak of it as yours before it registers on your physical senses. Now, people of God might take pity on you, or someone else might; but it won’t be from God because you didn’t receive it God’s way.

I know that this seems backwards to some of you; but living God’s way and living the world’s way are in opposition to each other.
“Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them,” (1 John 2:15 New International Version).
Even God’s people want to do things the way the world does because they don’t want to be called or thought of as weird. “You will be united to the one or side you obey—do like.” That was from God, His words, not me. In John 15:7 Jesus was talking about being united with Him (this is an interesting way to look at it) and God just said that you will be united to the one you do like. God’s way seems to be to speak of the result as if it already happened. The world’s way is that if you cannot see it, taste it, feel it, hear it or smell it, you would be lying if you said it was yours. God calls things that be not (results that are not manifested yet) as though they already are; and He said that when we pray according to His word we can do the same. So, which side are you going to do like?
