Two Types
I’m sure you have heard the saying, “There are two types of people…” Well, the Lord just gave me this to study, to write in my blog, do an article and a Bible study. “There are two types of people who call themselves Christians who will not make heaven.” Now, I don’t like bearing bad news, but this isn’t bad for the true Christian who is a disciple of Jesus. For the others, I just pray that it will get you to repent and get your life together.

One of those two types has called Jesus their Savior, they pray and are genuinely good, kind people. Maybe they volunteer at soup kitchens or even in hospitals.
“Those who are honest in their faith in my word will take my name and drive them evil demons out of those who need it. They will also lay their hands on sick folk, it doesn’t matter what the sickness because it’s not from me or my Father; do this and the sick will recover, whether you see it or not. If there is a reason that you must pick up a snake—not just tempting the Lord because that’s sin—and the snake bites you it will not harm you because you belong to me/Us. The same goes for drinking anything deadly, or eating anything deadly, it won’t harm you. But, now this is crucial, you must wait for the baptism and the anointing in the Holy Spirit before you can do any of this; and you will also speak in new, unlearned, tongues. However, you will not be able to do any of these works until you are baptized in the Holy Spirit. Therefore, you must wait in Jerusalem until you are baptized in the Holy Spirit,” (Mark 16:17-19 Steadfast in Honor)

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the realm of heaven’s kingdom. It is only those who persist in doing the will of my heavenly Father. On the day of judgment many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, don’t you remember us? Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we cast out demons and do many miracles for the sake of your name?’ But I will have to say to them, ‘Go away from me, you lawless rebels! I’ve never been joined to you!’” (Matthew 7:21-23 The Passion Translation)
I prayed for a way to explain this so that you could catch the meaning. Jesus was saying (a W.T. paraphrase), “You were doing these things but you never talked to me about them. Look back, most of what you have done is coming unraveled. In truth I tell you, I don’t know you and I never really did.”

Do you recall 1 Corinthians 13:1-3? In them Paul was saying that he could do all of these great and miraculous works. So, that means that he must have been born of Love and even was baptized in the Holy Spirit. But then he said that if he didn’t have love they wouldn’t profit anything. I had to wonder about that; he was born of Love and Holy Spirit baptized, but he didn’t have love. He had love but didn’t have love; that must mean he didn’t operate in love, he didn’t show anyone love. In other words, he was doing these things to promote himself and not going to Jesus for direction. Go back and read Matthew 7:21-23 again, and read my paraphrase.

Ya see, there are two sides to every coin, every coin that you can pick up and spend. And you must do both in order to get to heaven. After you are born again, have made Jesus your Lord (Lord, not just Savior) and get baptized and anointed in the Holy Spirit; the first act would be prayer and doing good, and the second act would be laying on of hands, driving out demons, praying in tongues and the like.

No one can use a coin with just one side. Do both and I’ll see you in heaven.
