Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty."

Do Not Rebel
Many things that Jesus told His followers to do are not done by many of ‘His followers’ (those who call themselves His followers) because they don’t see the results. But, how can anyone expect to see results of something that hasn’t been done yet? That’s the meaning of insane, to see the results of doing something that hasn’t been done yet.

Brothers and sisters, that is why faith is so important.
“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see,” (Hebrews 11:1 New Living Translation).
When you pray for something, or when you find in God’s word that something has been given to you (like healing) God wants you to begin confessing it as yours until it manifests (when you can latch onto it with your five physical senses); but you want it to manifest before you will confess it as yours. Can you see how backwards that is? But by your refusing to do it in faith, God’s way, you are rebelling against God, the same God whose Son is Jesus whom you say you love.

Jesus told you to drive out demons in His name (take the name of Jesus and drive that demon out) but most ‘Christians’ (people who say they follow Christ) get afraid to do that because “What if it doesn’t work?” If you use the name of Jesus and boldness it will work, the devil has to honor that name.
“For this reason also [because He obeyed and so completely humbled Himself], God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,” (Philippians 2:9 Amplified Bible).
Jesus told you to lay your hands on the sick and the sick would recover: That means it is your responsibility to lay your hands on the sick, and it is entirely between God and the sick person for the sick to recover. If you do what Jesus told you to do then God will give the recovery, and it is up to the sick person to receive the recovery in manifestation. But you say that you are not the healer. Where, in the whole Bible, did anyone say that you had to be the healer in order to lay hands on the sick for recovery? Jesus took those wounds on His body to anchor the healing truth for them. So, when you lay hands on them you are telling them that you want them to know their healing is from God and recovery is theirs for the calling. But, by you refusing to honor God and the sick this way you are rebelling against God.
“‘If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land. But if you refuse and rebel,
you will be destroyed by swords.’ The Lord has spoken,” (Isiah 1:19-20 GOD’S WORD Translation).
Jesus told you to speak/pray in an unknown/unlearned tongue (language), this is a power associated with the baptism in the Holy Spirit of God. But, you say that you are automatically filled (baptized) with the Holy Spirit when you confess Jesus as Lord. And you don’t speak in tongues because you don’t understand what you’re saying; that’s why it’s called UNKNOWN, meaning the speaker doesn’t know what he’s saying (Rom. 8:26). By, you’re not doing this you are rebelling again God.

There are ministries out the in the world, some have internet ministries, some are just starting their work, and some are happening upon old knowledge in new ways. God may want you to give to these ministries. When you reason that you are already giving to such-n-such ministry so you can’t give to another, or those ministries don’t need your money, or you’ve never heard of those ministries, or they’re not right with their teaching, or something like that, maybe you should sit down and get serious with God about your giving. Maybe it’s time for a change in your giving amount or direction. God might want you to help this new ministry to get going, He might want you to help the ministry to do something new. I know, some of you have made giving pledges, saying that you will give such-n-such amount each month; I don’t like making those kind of pledges to ministries. I’ve already made the pledge to God to tithe and give as He directs. But, taking any of those attitudes (written above) is trying to direct your own giving life. In so doing you are endangering yourself. You do not want to rebel against God by refusing (by using reason) to do what God wants you to do.

When you are refusing and rebelling against God and His ways, what you are doing is, you are being willing and obedient to the devil and its ways. In so doing you are saying that the devil’s ways work and God’s ways don’t. You are, in essence, saying that God is dead. And you know that God’s Not Dead!
