With a new look
When you are talking with an atheist or a scientist who believes that everything evolved... You say, “Suppose you are right. If what you say is right then you are agreeing that you and everything around you is here by sheer accident. There is no purpose for life. But one, if not the only, reason that you are so opposed to creationism is because there is not much of an explanation of it in the Bible. The book of Genesis, chapter one is all there is and that’s supposed to cover it all. Yes, it does say that God created it all in six days, the seventh He rested, but the Apostle Peter brings out the point that God’s timing and ours are the same.
“But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day,” (2 Peter 3:8 New International Version).
“So, if you are going to take that literally as the way that it is written then God created this all it six thousand years. But, you don’t need to take it that literally, God may have used six or seven million, or even billions of years. The bottom line is that God was at the beginning and He started it all with purpose.”

Here is something that the writers of Steadfast in Honor wrote about the creation.
“Science has decided that the Earth is many billions of years old and it was created by two huge asteroids that collided in space. Someone had to create the asteroids and send them on the route to the collision with purpose; either that or the Earth was an accident.

We are not debating the possibility that the Earth may be older than some might think, but there had to be a creator of it.

Now, about the age of the Earth; it could be billions of years old or it could be that creationists are right and the Earth is less than 8000 years old, which would make many miracles be true. But the age is not the thing that really matters here. From the very beginning of the universe there has been divine design.

So, let’s say that the Earth was created billions of years ago. God has a hierarchy of reign; God (the Father, Son, Holy Spirit), Lucifer (the arch angel of light) (God’s second in command), Michael, Gabriel, and the rest.

Well, in God’s mercy He gave the rule of the Earth to Lucifer. Lucifer created a form of life, actually many forms which we call prehistoric life. This lasted for millions of years, and meanwhile Lucifer was getting more and more full of himself and prideful; he contracted the Putrid Ridiculous IDiotic Ego for himSELF (self-pride); Lucifer fell from grace. When Lucifer fell from grace; Lucifer went against God and God didn’t like it. The entity that used to be called Lucifer is now called Satan, that is the king of demons or misfits.

Another huge asteroid hit the Earth and threw it into what we call the ice age; all life died then and the Earth became void. That is when God took over, he recreated the Earth, made it a life giving planet; He created all life as we know it, He created the blueprints of the creatures, He knew what changes they would encounter and He gave them the ability to evolve and adapt. But human kind was a special project of His, so He created man as he is today. The only changes that man had to make, which are continual changes, are his continual learning and growing, and continental style changes; and God gave us these great abilities to think, learn, grow and make choices.
Some people might look at deformities in others and wonder why that happened. Did God do that for a purpose? Well, the reasons for those deformities and other problems with humans are not all known; but no one can be right in blaming God. All we can do is find the best way to deal with the problems and let God work His works and do His thing.

Now it is Satan’s number 1 goal to steal all that God wants to give His people, kill God’s people and His plans, and destroy their testimony; in doing that he (it) will thwart God at every turn. Ultimately (it) wants to take God’s throne and rule.”
The question that will stump every evolution scientist is: “How did the very first atom, the smallest particle of all, come to be?” He or she will have to admit that he or she does not know, that by some miracle it just happened. Well, by saying “some miracle” they’re admitting that there must be some force at work, and you can then tell them who that force is.

Then you have an open door to begin telling him or her about the wonderful love of Jesus, why He came to Earth and why He died and was raised to life. They will, no doubt, ask you, “Well, where is he? I don’t see him.” You are a representative of Him, that’s why He wants you to act and speak like Him (no, I don’t mean Hebrew, Greek or Aramaic). So, read the Bible in several translations and versions; and read the paraphrases too because they will bring out certain truths. Practice what you read that Jesus did, and be ready when asked.
